Privacy
This page says what Wafflr's website does with information about you. It runs no analytics or advertising scripts and loads nothing from anyone else's servers: even the fonts are served from here.
Who we are
The website is run by Wafflr, and you can write to us at [email protected].
What the server records
Like every web server, ours keeps an ordinary access log: the address of the page asked for, the time, and the visitor's IP address and browser. It is used to keep the site running and to see attacks, and it is kept for 14 days.
The launch list
If you ask to be told when Wafflr launches, we keep the email address you give, the date you gave it, and which version of the wording you agreed to. We use it for one thing: to let you know, in a single email, when Wafflr launches. We do not sell it, share it or use it for anything else, and it is kept in our own database.
Our lawful basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time: remove your address and it is deleted straight away. Whether or not you do, we delete an address once the launch announcement has been sent to it, and in any case no later than 24 months after it was given.
You also have the rights the UK GDPR gives you to see what we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, and to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
The one cookie
The sign-up form sets one cookie, called wafflr-form, which protects the form from being submitted by another website. It is strictly necessary for the form to work, holds nothing about you, is sent only to this site, and is removed when you close your browser. No other page sets a cookie.
This page will be updated before the site starts doing anything more than this, and before any product is sold from it.
